From Farmhouse to Local Business
Our story began in 1880 with a simple farmhouse in Selva di Val Gardena. Since then, the Senoner family has been closely connected to village life. Over time, the small farm evolved into a supermarket, a textile shop, and a deco shop, while the values we started with have remained unchanged. We care deeply about our community and are always pleased to welcome every guest.
Three Houses on the Square Since 1832
The three houses on the village square have been in the ownership of the Senoner family since 1832. In the beginning, they hosted a small general store serving the local community. Today, the business has grown into one of the largest in Val Gardena. While much has changed over the years, our purpose remains the same: to create a place where everyone can shop and feel genuinely welcome.
The Carillon. Our Gift to Selva di Val Gardena
Across generations, the family has preserved and developed its heritage with care. What began as a farmhouse gradually became a place where different worlds come together. In 2002, the carillon was added to the building. Since then, fourteen bronze bells and hand-carved wooden figures have brought music and movement to the square. It stands as a symbol of Val Gardena craftsmanship and as a gift from our family to the village.
Tradition and Modern Life Under One Roof
Today, Senoner Sartëur brings together many different worlds in one place. From our supermarket and regional products to home textiles, decorations, and freshly prepared food, everything reflects both tradition and everyday life. The carillon on our building serves as a reminder of our story.
